My name is Michael Vargas, and it is my tremendous honor to represent Area 2 on the Elk Grove USD Board of Education.

I’m running for re-election to continue the progress we’ve made over the past 4 years. I will focus on:

  • keepings our campuses safe and healthy,

  • increasing college and careers readiness,

  • expanding educational opportunities for all students,

  • recruiting and retaining the best teachers and staff, and

  • ensuring responsible governance and fiscal management.

Together we can ensure that every student has access to a high quality education in every classroom every day.
